It helps students to develop a logical approach for solving real world problems. Department of Mathematics runs a three-year undergraduate program namely B.Sc. Honours in Mathematics & B.Sc. Pass Program in Physics, Computer Science & Mathematics (PCSM). The entire course covers all the fundamental theories of pure and applied mathematics. In each and every semester, one lab course is offered to students so that they can strengthen their logical skills and are able to understand the application of mathematics in the real world. The contents of this program are based on UGC curriculum. It is designed in such a way that it fulfils the need of today’s industry, scientific community and many more.

Department of Mathematics is well equipped with an Advance simulation, Modelling, Data Analytics, Image processing and Advanced programming lab. The Department has mathematical licensed software which are freely available for students.

The Department will strive to strengthen the above mentioned areas of study and also to diversify into upcoming areas such as applied mathematics and statistics.

The Department has bright young faculty who have acquired their education from reputed Indian Institutions. Besides engineering courses, the curriculum includes sufficient courses from the areas of physics, mathematics, humanities and management. UG Program in Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology

The Department of Civil Engineering at the Jaypee University Anoopshahr was formed in 2014, to address the needs of technical manpower for industry, R&D organizations and academic institutions. As our country gearing up for infrastructure upgrade, demand for quality civil engineers is on the increase. The aim of the Department is to graduate the students who are socially aware and have deep understanding of fundamental principles to solve problems and meet challenges in the Civil Engineering domain of design, construction, research and management in various disciplines. UG Program in Civil Engineering

Undergraduate program in Civil Engineering has been developed to meet the latest requirement of the infrastructural development of our country in areas like Construction, Transportation, Hydropower and Environmental Engineering. About the Physics and Materials Science

 

Physics and Materials Science has been a core discipline of study at the University since its inception. The Department offers various basic and advanced courses on physics and materials science to four year B. Tech. (ECE, CSE, IT, CE and ME) and three year B. Sc. programs. The Department has two laboratories well-equipped with experimental setups covering more than 50 key topics of optics, mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, semiconductor physics, electronics, laser, radiation physics and molecular physics for the undergraduate programs. Welcome to the Department of Chemistry at Jaypee University Anoopshahr. Chemistry and Engineering Chemistry have been a core discipline of study at the University since its beginning. The Department offers Engineering Chemistry to four year B. Tech. (CE, CSE ECE, ME, and IT) and different courses of three year B. Sc. programs. The Department has been facilitated with well-equipped laboratory with about 30 experimental setups which covers the basic chemistry experiments for the B. Tech. students. The department aims to cultivate a world-class quality teaching environment for undergraduate students through its progressive approach on covering fundamental to advanced courses. The department is committed to achieve excellence in teaching and research in different areas of pure and applied Chemistry. Apart from teaching Chemistry and Engineering Chemistry courses to Undergraduate students, faculty members are actively engaged in the research activities in the fields of Bio-inorganic Chemistry. Department of Life Science Jaypee University

About the Department of Life Sciences

 

The Department of Life Sciences was established in Jaypee University, Anoopshahr in 2022 with a mission of disseminating knowledge in life sciences through learning, teaching, and research to address the problems concerning crop productivity, conservation of resources, human health and welfare. The Department offers three year graduation course, i.e. B.Sc. in Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry.

Botany : under B.Sc. (Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry) offers a comprehensive study of diverse plant forms present in the nature. It will help students to get acquainted with the algae, fungi, and various flowering and non-flowering plants. Besides, students will gain insights into the quintessential techniques of plant biotechnology such as tissue culture, recombinant DNA technology, nanotechnology, and other latest approaches. While studying botany, students will understand the importance of conserving and maintaining the available plant resources. Botany laboratory has also been set up equipped with necessary instruments and chemicals that will further aid students to have a hands- on training and thus, develop a practical approach in addition to theoretical knowledge.

Zoology : Studying Zoology aims to provide an intimate understanding of the diversity and physiology of animals, their behavior, evolution and the ecosystems in which they live. The main areas include cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, physiology, immunology, genetics, biotechnology, ecology and animal behavior. It also offers the opportunity to consider ways to face global challenges such as climate change and food security, trying to find solutions to help both animals and humans alike. Zoology laboratory with all necessary amenities has also been set up.

Chemistry : Chemistry and Engineering Chemistry have been a core discipline of study at the University since its beginning. University has a separate department of chemistry which offers engineering chemistry to four year B. Tech. (CE, CSE ECE, and IT) and different courses of three year B.
