Jaypee Youth Club (JYC) provides platform to the students to use their energy, creativity, experience and skills in the development of their own personality and social togetherness.
JYC is a student’s body at Jaypee University Anoopshahr responsible for organizing various cultural, literary, sports and technical events every year. This club is an integral part of the University since inception. Beyond the normal academic activities, JYC gives opportunity to the students to utilize their time and energy in following and nurturing their interests and skills. This club is full of enthusiasm, development, consistency and effort. JYC is an incredible platform where the students acquire qualities like team work, managerial skills, sportsmanship and leadership.
Jaypee Youth Club organizes various cultural, literary, sports, and technical events every year. JYC aims to provide a platform for the students to nurture and showcase their talents, interests, and skills, and to foster a sense of community and belongingness among the university members. Each hub of JYC has a Secretary and a Joint Secretary who are responsible for planning and executing their respective events. JYC also conducts annual functions such as Le’Accueil (Fresher’s) and Convivial (Annual function) to celebrate the achievements and diversity of the students. JYC is a great opportunity for students to enhance their personality, leadership, teamwork, and creativity. Structure.
The JYC is made up of nine hubs. Each hub is responsible for planning and directing its own events.
1. The Arts and Cultural Hub: The Cultural hub provides an acclaimed platform to members to polish their hobbies of music, dance, and indigenous arts. The Cultural hub perennially organizes mega events like Fresher, Cultural fest, Annual fest and musical nights.
2. Dramatics and Visual Art Hub: Dramatics and Visual Art Hub encourages and supports the expression and appreciation of drama and visual arts by the university community. It includes spaces for theatre, painting, sculpture, and other forms of artistic creation and exhibition.
3. Literary Hub: The Literary Hub organizes and manages all the literary activities and gives a platform to students to express their literary talents. The Literary hub also publishes university Newsletter on half yearly basis.
4. The Sports Hub: The Sports Hub ensures that all the hunger for action is replenished. At JU, Anoopshahr, collegiate and intervarsity sporting events are coordinated by the Sports hub.
5. Coding Hub: The Coding Hub will serve as a collaborative group for students interested in programming and technology to enhance their coding skills. In coding hub, innovation meets execution! Here, students dive deep into the world of programming, cultivating skills that drive technological breakthroughs. The coding hub encourages a dynamic community where budding programmers may work together, share ideas, and grow while accepting differences in viewpoints and methods.
6. Tinkering Hub: The Tinkering Hub is an engaging environment that fosters young people’s imagination, creativity, and curiosity as well as abilities like physical computing, computational thinking, adaptive learning, and design thinking etc. It will offer a setting for collaborative learning, innovation, and hands on experiences.
7. Social Services Hub: A Social Services hub serves as a platform for students committed to community welfare and social impact.
8. Media and Movie Hub: The media and movie hub provides a platform for members to organize screenings, and collectively explore the ever-evolving landscape of media. Movie making and showing, photography, editing etc. It showcases the achievements and innovations of the university’s media community through events, exhibitions, and publications. It also allows you to record videos and short movies that can be projected in the university.
9. Green Hub: The Green hub organizes innovative activities, making university students into nature loving group who work together as a team for ensuring eco sustainability in the university premises. Plantation drives, Eco-conservation programs are some of the events.
JYC Membership
JYC is a student’s body. Every student contributes Rs 1000/- per annum for the membership.
Student can join JYC as a Secretary or Joint secretary of any one or two of the above wings
The students, interested in Secretary or Joint secretary positions, are required to fill a form on the basis of which a brief interview is conducted before the final selection.
