The B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Honours / Honours with Research) program in Mathematics is diligently designed to foster a strong foundation in mathematical abilities that are an integral part of technological advances, software development, big data analysis and industrial research. In the current scenario of rapid growth, this is a much sought after course as it prepares the students for a wide range of career opportunities in academics as well as industry. Jaypee University Anoopshahr boasts of learned faculty members in Mathematics. They have specialized knowledge, longstanding research experience and teaching command in a wide range of advanced areas of Mathematics. This includes Functional Analysis, Approximation Theory, Fluid Mechanics, Statistical Convergence, Special Functions, Operation Research, q-Calculus, etc. The members are involved in forefront research work in these contemporary areas. They work in collaboration with leading experts from premier institutes in India and abroad. They are part of international organizations and projects. Thus the students are able to acquire experience and gain expertise in the advanced areas of Mathematics. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Applicants must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry / Computer Science. With at least 50% marks in the above subjects, taken together and 50% marks overall.
